The Striving for Better campaign began as a project by BP Global to highlight the lives of athletes competing in the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. For the local instalment, we had the honour of working with Paralympic athlete, Shanntol Ince. With her help and the artistic eyes of Director Oliver Milne and Editor Ryan C. Khan, we were able to tell her story from an eager 4-year-old swimming with her kindergarten class to a national hero. In the end the ad did not turn out exactly as we imagined – it was better.
